Buddy Mondlock
HAM have managed to 'bag' one of the best american singer songwriters on the acoustic circuit today!
Buddy Mondlock writes songs so well that some great songwriters have recorded his songs on their own albums. Guy Clark, Nanci Griffith and Janis Ian, to name just a few.
Buddy is over from Nashville and playing a few concerts in the UK of which we are one! He has received air play on the Bob Harris show on Radio Two and has sung and collaborated with the legendary Art Garfunkel! You can't but be seduced by the brilliant songs 'Poetic Justice', 'The Edge of The World' just two of his songs that simply draw you into his world.
Find out more about Buddy, read his full bio while listening to many of his own compositions including 'Poetic Justice' and full tracks from each of his three albums, including and tracks from his latest solo album 'The Edge of The World'.
But please don't accept what we say here as you really do need to visit Buddy's own web site to find out for yourself!

Chris While and Julie Matthews
Eight times nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in the Best Duo, Best Song & Best Live Act categories.
Though out their career they have toured solidly as a duo in the UK, Europe, Africa, North America and Australia where they have achieved great success and are held in the highest esteem, filling concert halls and headlining festival stages. They've also worked on several musical projects for the BBC including Tales of the Towpath, a radio documentary about the building of the Manchester Ship Canal and The 2006 Radio Ballads.
Chris While & Julie Matthews are both individual writers of some note but it's when they combine their writing talents that the unique nature of their partnership flourishes. They are world renowned for their affinity on stage and for the energy and enthusiasm of their live performances.

Paul Liddell
At only 25 years old, Paul is already somewhat a veteran of the acoustic music world, having released two solo albums and an EP with his band ‘Delphians’. He has launched his latest EP at Sunderland Minster.
Recently, Paul has been touring extensively all over the UK, his one man show and self effacing style combined with his powerful and unpretentious delivery earning him many new fans along the way. This live experience has paid great dividends, with Paul last year playing the same bill as Sting at the Piperine Free Festival in Milan.
In February ’07 Paul undertook his first tour of America, which was a great success. He played 8 gigs around California and the West Coast, and even performed on a TV show filmed at Time Warner Studios in Hollywood.
Paul was kind enough to help us out by playing in the TCT Tent at both 2007 and 2008 Beverley Folk Festivals.

Mambo Jambo
Two musicians with a growing reputation for serving up a range of hot sounds from around the world, using all acoustic ingredients.
Pete and Frankie are inspired by the many styles and rhythms of Cuba & the Caribbean, Brazil and Africa, and they love to blend these sounds with jazz, boogie, bluegrass and even European styles to create a rootsy & joyously vibrant sound of their own - one that's good for dancing as well as listening.
Besides playing plenty of well-known classics, Mambo Jambo play many less well-known but choice numbers, and that includes quite a few of their own compositions.
"This multi- instrumental duo will quite happily take you on a whistle stop tour of the musical world, taking in Cuba, Congo, Kentucky and a lot more besides."
Waterford Evening Post // Ireland

Mean Eyed Cat
The ever popular quintet from Hull play country and americano covers and originals ("serve up Southern fried music in meaty bite sized chunks") and will soon have you clapping, singing and stamping your feet.
Lynn, Pete, Rob, Frank and Anita between them play no less than 10 Guitars, Banjo, Pedal Steel, Mandolin, Keyboards, Violin, Bass and Drums and they still have time to sing with some fine harmonies thrown in!
Mean Eyed Cat wowed the audience at the 2008 Beverley Folk Festival with their versions of some famous and some not so famous songs. “Pop and rock meet country and swing with a satisfying crunch.”
Warning “mean eyed cat can cause addiction to foot tapping stomping swampy music, so listen with caution”.
Not to be missed and will ensure that HAM finishes on a high note for 2010.
